JUNE TIP

Air conditioning becomes a BIG priority when we start reaching 80-90 degree days. If you are sweating on your commute or are planning a road trip, be sure that the a/c is performing at its best. The serpentine belt, cooling system, a/c compressor performance, freon levels, leaks, and even dirty cabin air filters are all factors in ensuring maximum comfort on a hot day. (Side note: if your engine is overheating, it will affect the efficiency of the air conditioning.) Watch this video to learn a bit more about the diagnostic process and how testing various components helps to ensure you keep cool all summer long.

HAPPENING ONLINE

Shout out to May reviewers for leaving 5-star reviews: Shawn Bentley Gallego, Kendall P., Maddie Timmerman, Monique Davis, Kathryn L., Gabriel Torres-Duvic, Kevin Davis, and Monique Hartwig! IN THE SHOP

Speaking on referrals…Did you know we have a Customer Referral Program? For each new customer you refer, we’ll make note of it and the next time you come in for service, we’ll apply your $25 referral fee credit! So be sure your friend tells us YOU referred them so we can thank you and give you credit! We have recently improved our tracking system and are grateful to be able to do it!

IN THE COMMUNITY

Great news for Aurora kids!  DAVA reopened June 8th for limited in-person classes.  All current DAVA classes and virtual classes are full, but please visit www.davarts.org for information about the July session.  Here are 2 more ways to get involved:

 DAVA Art Kits

Sign up for weekly emails with project ideas to keep students busy creating at home!  We provide Art Kits with the supplies needed for each project for free. Pick up your Art Kits at DAVA between 12-2pm on Fridays or by appointment. Anyone interested in participating can email Viviane Le Courtois at [email protected] to reserve a kit.

“Quaranteens”

DAVA’s walk-by installation is up and ready to view!  DAVA's windows have been activated with artwork created by the students remotely over the last 10 weeks. Featured projects are DAVIRUS and COVID Photo Diaries, collected from students in Job Training in Arts & Technology and Creative Action by Teens. This show will remain up through the end of July, so please stop by DAVA and check it out! DAVA is located at 1405 Florence Street in Aurora.

Stay safe!
