August Newsletter 2025

Which school supply is king of the classroom?

(Scroll for the answer and this month’s special!)

It’s that time of year—when backpacks get packed, alarms get set, and families shift into a new rhythm. Whether you're sending a teen off to high school or just adjusting to a fuller morning commute, August is all about getting prepared.

This month, we’re leaning into education—on the road and off. We’re sharing car care tips for families, highlighting community events that bring people together, and celebrating the people who make our shop what it is. Scroll for safety reminders, music in the park, and the answer to this month’s riddle (because who doesn’t love a little fun with their maintenance?).

Back-to-school season brings a flurry of supply lists, schedule shifts, and maybe even the first time your teen is driving to school on their own. It’s exciting—but it’s also a moment to slow down and check in.

Because here’s the truth: the things you don’t think twice about—checking tire pressure, topping off coolant, pulling over when something doesn’t feel right—might be things your teenager has never done. They may not know what those dashboard lights mean. They may not realize how quickly a "weird noise" can turn into a major issue.

Driving is freedom, yes. But it’s also responsibility. And while we don’t want to scare them, we do need to prepare them. Talk about the hard stuff. The emergencies. The what-ifs. Let them know they’re not expected to have all the answers—but they do need to pay attention, ask questions, and take the wheel seriously.

This month, we’re sharing bite-sized lessons on car care basics on our social media channels—so whether you’re handing over the keys or driving the daily drop-off route yourself, you’ll have what you need to keep your vehicle safe and sound. Because confidence behind the wheel starts with knowledge—and just a little guidance goes a long way.

This month marks 2 years of having Travis on our team as Shop Foreman! We are

beyond grateful for his expertise, quiet confidence, and being an incredible example of

work ethic and leadership!
