June Newsletter 2025

What animal is always at a baseball game?
(Scroll to the bottom for this month’s specials—and the punchline.)

This June, we’re talking about belonging, community, and how small acts of service can mean everything.

My father didn’t just fix things, he built belonging. Years ago, he led a group of teens who called themselves the Mixed Nuts. Some lacked father figures; others just needed purpose. He taught them wiring, lighting, and how to transform a plain fairgrounds hall into a dazzling fundraiser venue. They learned to run A/V systems, but more importantly, they learned confidence, teamwork, and pride. He showed up for them…and they showed up for each other.

That spirit lives in our shop. We serve all kinds of people, from all walks of life. Whether you’re a parent juggling schedules, a student on a tight budget, or someone who just needs to feel seen—we’re here. Because inclusion isn’t a banner; it’s a practice. It’s in how we listen, how we explain, and how we care.
When someone walks into our bay, we don’t see just a car; we see a life in motion. Maybe it’s a single mom squeezing in an oil change between shifts. Maybe it’s an elder relying on that vehicle to stay connected to their community. Maybe it’s a teen learning to drive, bringing their own version of curiosity to the shop. Everyone comes with a story, and we meet them with respect.
What my father gave to the Mixed Nuts wasn’t just skills…it was dignity. And that’s what we aim to offer here, too. Not in grand gestures, but in the details: clear communication, honest timelines, thoughtful service. Because feeling included shouldn’t be a rare experience… it should be the standard. As we celebrate Father’s Day this month, I’m thinking of the quiet power in showing up. Of men like my dad, and of all the caregivers and mentors who lead with patience, curiosity, and care.

You don’t have to share DNA to be a steady hand or a guiding light. Sometimes, being of
service is the most lasting legacy we can offer. This month, we honor that legacy. We honor you.

REVIEWS
“I recently brought in my old Murano to help identify a leak that we could not determine where it was coming from and why my car was drinking coolant like juice! The guys at Aurora Auto Pros not only determined that I had a crack in my radiator, but also sent me a very detailed explanation WITH PICTURES ( for those of us unfamiliar with car talk) showing me all of the issues with my vehicle. They also kept me in the loop via text which I found super helpful and professional. They separated their assessment into different categories showing what things needed my immediate attention and what I could possibly wait on. I will definitely be bringing my vehicle back.” -- Nina Marie

“My car was making some strange noises after a minor accident, so I scheduled an appointment and brought it in. Everyone in the store was super welcoming, and the mechanic drove the car around with me so I could point out the noise. Upon finding the problem, he pointed it out to me and fixed it all within 20 minutes. Super positive experience all around!” --Mitchell Robers
