February – A Great Time for Some SELF-CARE!

This February, show some love and appreciation to those around you but don’t forget about #1 – the person looking back at you in the mirror each day! There is a lot of valid emphasis being put on self-care, and for good reason. “In a national survey, Americans cited benefits of self-care as: enhanced self-confidence (64%), increased productivity (67%), happiness (71%). You’ve heard it said before, but it bears repeating – you can’t care for others if you don’t first take care of yourself. Self-care activities should help you to create balance and wellness in various aspects of your life.
Listen to your gut and recognize your emotional needs.
Invest time and energy in important relationships.
Eat balanced meals and move more. Find activities that feel good, like dancing (my personal fav)!
Establish your personal budget. No one else can do that for you!
Sleep! Most things seem more manageable after we are rested!
With a simple self-care routine, you can ensure that those who love you will get to enjoy you for longer! And showing your vehicle some love can help keep you in the mix all year long!
