July 25 – Day of Resilience
Now in its 11th year, the free, family-friendly Day of Resilience will take place from 8:00 a.m. to noon at the 7/20 Memorial in the Water-Wise Garden. The event brings the community together to celebrate healing, hope, and connection. The event includes the 5th Annual Hero's Journey 5K and kid's fun run, organized by a survivor and benefiting scholarships for APS students. Attendees can also enjoy beer tasting, live music, chalk art, wellness and community resource booths, a new community raffle, family-friendly activities, and opportunities to connect with local organizations and neighbors.
Each element of the day is intentionally designed to foster remembrance, resilience, and long-term healing while creating a welcoming space where people can come together in support of one another. The 7/20 Memorial Foundation is entirely volunteer run by family members, survivors, and community supporters. While the Foundation works year-round to advocate for healing and resiliency for individuals and communities impacted by tragedy, the Week of Resilience is first and foremost an opportunity to give back to the Aurora community and celebrate the strength, compassion, and connection that continue to define our city.

OUTDOOR MOVIE NIGHTS - FILM ON THE FIELD
Check out outdoor movie nights to the Field at Stanley. The "Film on the Field" series, presented by Visit Aurora, starts Sunday, May 15th, at dusk and will run every third Sunday of the month from May through September. Here's the line up:
