I have dealt with many dealership and private vehicle maintenance and repair companies for nearly 50 years. Most have been fair and good, except perhaps the dealership repair shops due to long lead times and extremely high pricing. I am glad to share with others that I was introduced to Auto Pros at 231 Airport Blvd. in Aurora, Colorado about 8-or-so years’-ago, and would like to explain why they are the best vehicle maintenance and repair business I have ever dealt with. Others that I have referred to Auto Pros have told me the same. Auto Pros is a family owned business who care for the community and other people, and are always supporting social need causes with not only financial support, but volunteering to help themselves. Auto Pros is honest and fair, and will look a customer in the eye and tell them the truth, and do no more than is needed to properly repair or maintain a vehicle with concern for the customer’s budget. I have had them tell me that something I thought was needed to be done could wait, yet inform me and explain why something was needed. I have a 2019 Ford Expedition Max that just went over 60,000-miles, and was ready for the recommended 60,000-mile full tune-up and maintenance. Not inexpensive, but less costly than taking it anywhere else, and I knew I could trust the good work. Owner, Edgar, and manager, Jose, suggested that I include cleaning the carbon from the combustion chamber and include a direct injection service. This added a little more cost to the total job, but was well worth it. The vehicle was running well prior to the service, and averaging 16.8 MPG in town, and about 24 MPG highway. After driving the unit for about a month, and 300 miles I can now estimate the benefits of what was done. It starts quicker; it shifts smoother, and is much peppier. Best of all, the mileage improved to 18 MPG city and 26+ highway. With the extra mileage, and estimating gas price at near $4 per gallon the vehicle is getting me 50-100 more miles on a gas fill-up. Per how much I drive yearly, and depending on type of driving, that is saving me $240-$300 a year in gas savings alone, and it performs better. This is awesome for a large SUV with 375-HP and 400-ft.-pounds of torque. My hat is off to Auto Pros, and I honestly report what I am saying and recommend everyone to try them out.
