This June, we’re talking about belonging, community, and how small acts of service can mean everything. My father didn’t just fix things, he built belonging. Years ago, he led a group of teens who called themselves the Mixed Nuts. Some lacked father figures; others just needed purpose. He taught them wiring, lighting, and how to transform a plain fairgrounds hall into a dazzling fundraiser venue. They learned to run A/V systems, but more importantly, they learned confidence, teamwork, and pride. He showed up for them…and they showed up for each other. That spirit lives in our shop.
